Fantastic museum which gives a glimpse into life in the former East German State. Lots of hands on exploring and learning. Needless to say kids and teens love it, but I was impressed how many adults enjoyed it as well. We thought 2 hours would be enough but we spent over 4 hours. Really cleans free toilets. This tunnel is always an amazing place to visit. It is so much fun to see all the cyclists take this shortcut to Hamburg. It is built in such a grand style that is impressive. What a nice discount store from food, hardware to clothing. We got some nice chocolate, name brand like Ritter Sport (double size for 1.99eu) for a deep discount. Just a fun store. This is a chain store so you can find many locations.
Really nice middle eastern restaurant especially if you like Kabab or pizza.
Food was fresh and flavorful. The presentation was good.

One has to take a parking ticket by the hotel, but parking is free for 60 minutes.

Other car makes are charging here as well as this BMW demonstrates, not always parking the way we expect

We charged our Tesla for 30 min. (We can go 300 miles on 1 charge.) Tesla navigation locates the most efficient route – indicating where the super-chargers are & the amenities at each. (Our rental includes free charging for all 4 weeks we are in Europe.) 🚙
