Miradouro da Ponta do Escalvado, Azores

This is another wonderful view from Miradouro da Ponta do Escalvado on Sao Miguel. The best part about this one, is you get two spectacular views. Looks one way and you’ll see Mosteiros. Look the other way and you’ll see Ponta da Ferraria. We were coming from Sete Cidades. This is a must stop. We continued east, on to Mosteiros DCIM\100GOPRO\GOPR7194.JPG...

Muro das Nove Janelas, Azores

Stunning visit to Muro das Nove Janelas (Nine Windows Wall) which is part of an old stone aqueduct Aqueduto do Carvão (Coal Aqueduct) located close to Mata do Canário (Canary Forest). This aqueduct was built in the 17th-18th centuries in order to supply water from several lakes of the Sete Cidades area to the city of Ponta Delgada
