We anchored here on our boat Mahalo, We were on our way to the Exumas but waited for a weather window. Expect swells with any wind that has N. Any wind with S expect relative calm. The breakwater reduce the size of the swells. The beach access is great to dinghy to. The view of cruise ships coming in and going is also amazing. One does need to make a radio call to Nassau Harbor Control before entering the harbor and provide boat name, prior port, registration number and where in Nassau one is heading. Felt very safe. Look for big blue rectangular fence in parking lot, inside is a big dumpster for trash. Enjoy this short aerial video of the Nassau and Junkanoo Beach anchorages from the Mahalo crew.
