The story continues from the last episode visiting my brother and daughters in Prora, but today we visit the historic resort town of Binz. It is located on the same beach but about 8 km down the road.
Binz, Germany, a beautiful resort town on the Baltic Sea island of Rügen. Binz is known for its sandy beaches, the Strandpromenade, an elegant seaside walkway, and Jagdschloss Granitz, a grand hunting lodge and castle with crenellated towers and a viewing platform.
I’m starting my day at the Binzer Strand, a long, sandy beach that’s perfect for swimming, sunbathing, or surfing. The water is crystal clear and the sand is soft and white. There are plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas for rent, and there are also a number of restaurants and cafes along the beachfront.
Binz is a beautiful town with a lot to offer visitors. I highly recommend it for a relaxing beach vacation or a more active holiday filled with hiking, biking, and sailing.
